Over the course of several months, I assisted Sawiyan for Community Development to develop an English as a Foreign Language Program. In collaboration with community leaders, our program started with six students and is now serving 200 students in Amman. Please read about it here. 

I provided an educational workshop for the Michigan Engaging Community through the Classroom initiative for University of Michigan community leaders and stakeholders. This workshop provided best practices for engaging with refugee populations to center refugee knowledge and to  ensure  sustainable change for their communities.
